Cooking Companions

Cooking Companions first began as a Kickstarter and demo (the “Appetizer Edition”) in 2020. 310 backers pledged $11,046 to make the dream a reality.

The full game was released on October 7th, 2021. After 37 million YouTube views, 30+ million TikTok engagements, and thousands of hours streamed on Twitch, a large free content update was released on July 27th, 2022.

Deer Dream Studios is an independent game developer based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Our team consists of a number of diverse individuals (Black, Asian, Hispanic, neurodivergent, trans, nonbinary, gay and bisexual) from all over the world: we hope players will appreciate their contributions and perspectives while playing our titles.

Our goal is to create unforgettable horror games set in the real world, during true historical events.
